Why we do it...
“People are the key to sustainability and technology is their vehicle”
By this philosophy we started our workshop in Wundanyi in 2016. Since then we developed specialised products for the Taita-hills region like the Majuamotizer and still continue development on other related products. With our focus on solar powered products we also contribute to protect our environment by reducing CO2 emissions and saving forests.​​​​
What we do...
We produce the Majuamotizer in our workshop in Wundanyi. As the word composition suggests,
maji = water, jua = sun, moto = hot , it is a self-sufficient, solar powered water heating system.
Thanks to our years of experience in solar energy we are able to produce a 100% kenyan product, which is easy to maintain but highly functional. For more information you can click here.
We are also offering new solar powered products for housing and farming and give consultation.
And who we are...
We are a small team of dedicated people who believe we can develop and distribute locally produced systems with the same outcome as the imported ones. We have long local experience in working with applied technology in East-Africa. The team in the workshop is assisted by European engineers and students as volunteers. Training for sales representatives or installers is provided by IRUWA on scheduled days or on request.
