We are delighted to announce another partnership with a new Maasai village. Following our successful collaboration with MakeMeSmileKenya, we contacted Mr Charles Momanyi in Kajiado. With its TeS Network, the young team combines its commitment to leadership with various project approaches involving permaculture, reforestation, improving living conditions by creating new jobs, and transforming to conscious climate protection.

 

In May 2025, we signed a cooperation agreement and were able to install 10 PV systems and 4 complete biogas plants in the village for the women and their children in June and July. In autumn, new pledges of support enabled us to decide to continue the project in 2026. This will be the first large project after several small ones, in which we will support a major reforestation project in addition to our renewable energy projects. The women involved will also receive additional income for their families. And the men will be integrated into the meaningful and nature-oriented restructuring of Maasai life through livestock farming, stable construction and biogas plant operation.
